Who runs it
Inland Empire Medicare Guide is operated by HealthBenefitsCompass LLC, a Southern California company and a subsidiary of HealthcareGPS Inc. that builds educational Medicare guides. It is not Medicare, not an insurer, and not an insurance agency. One of our reviewers is a licensed Medicare agent; even so, this site sells nothing and recommends no plan, and nothing on it can decide what you are entitled to.
About this edition
This site is the Riverside and San Bernardino edition of California Medicare Guidance. What is local here — the county offices, the two-county serviceability guide, the county snapshot and the questions about care across the county line — exists nowhere else in the network. The rules, glossary, journeys and trust pages are the network's shared content: they read the same on the state guide, and the state page is their canonical home.
Why the address says Riverside
riversidemedicareguide.com is the address on flyers; it sends you to this edition at californiamedicareguide.us/california/inland-empire/, which serves both Riverside County and San Bernardino County. The county switch at the top of every page chooses which offices you see.
How it is paid for
This review copy has no advertising, no plan listings and no referral arrangements. If that changes, the arrangement will be disclosed on this page before it takes effect.
Where the facts come from
Federal rules come from Medicare.gov and the Social Security Administration and are listed with dates on the rules page. Local resources are public agencies, each reviewed on a stated date.
Trust pages
Who reviews this content
Two named people check the pages that carry a review line. The line names the reviewer, what was reviewed and the date, and the review register lists every reviewed page. Both reviewers work at HealthcareGPS Inc., the parent company of HealthBenefitsCompass LLC, which operates this site.

- Credentials
- RN — Registered Nurse
- MSN — Master of Science in Nursing
- License
- Licensed Medicare insurance agent
Key note: Lauri is also a licensed Medicare insurance agent. That license is why she reads enrollment, plan and cost rules the way an agent must. It is not used on this site: nothing here is sold, recommended or enrolled, and reading this site does not make anyone your agent.
